Look up in the sky! It’s a bird….it’s a plane! No….it’s your weekly air travel news! Here’s what’s happening in the world of aviation, from the ground up.
For the first time in recent history Delta Airlines has about 1000 job openings at airports around the US. Seems like the days of airlines losing money are over and Delta (along with several other airlines) is starting to replace many of the employees they had to let go. Everything from baggage handlers to flight attendants are needed and most of these jobs come with perks like free travel!!

Easier All-Inclusive Access
Starting Feb. 16 low-fare carrier Air Tran will be flying twice weekly service to the Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana. Flights will be from Atlanta, with connections from all of the other airports they service. Air Tran already flies to several Caribbean destinations and this addition will allow access to the island rich with all-inclusive resorts. Could be the start of a reasonably priced getaway?
