A Room with An Ocean View: Guests Stay in Converted Oil Rig
At the Seaventures Dive Resort, you can dive right out of your hotel room and straight into world-class scuba diving and snorkeling. The no-frills hotel, a former oil-drilling stand, is located near Malaysian Borneo, which is nearby Sipadan Island, considered to many as the world’s best dive spot. A three-day, two-night scuba diving packing, including room, meals, transfers, equipment and three dives at Sipadan runs about $516 per person.

What could a $6 million weekend stay at Taj Boston possibly get you? Well, your name on the new theater at the Boston Conservatory, VIP tickets to fancy grand-opening events, two lifetime tickets to all the shows in said personalized namesake theater, private round-trip jet transportation from Boston to anywhere in the world, limo service, a new Jaguar XJ with lifetime valet parking at the Taj, and all kinds of fun swag (although, can you really call it that when you’re putting down $6 million?) including an engraved Christofle sterling silver platter, etched Tiffany champagne flutes and a magnum of Cristal.

W Hotel Premieres Clothing Line at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Starwood’s chic W chain hosted New York Fashion Week’s first-ever show for a hotel store’s clothing and accessories. The pieces were inspired by W’s three new hotels: W Vieques Island in Puerto Rico, London and St. Petersburg, Russia. Prices for the entire collection range between about $45 and $500.
