Taj Mahal Collapsing?
Could the Taj Mahal be collapsing soon? According to Britain’s Daily Mail, it very well could- in as little as two years! The 358-year-old marble structure, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, attracts four million tourists a year and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. That being said, a chief archaeologist at The Archaeological Survey of India dismissed the claims. Source: Fox News
Jacuzzi Dip Off a Swiss Bridge
Twenty-five daring jacuzzi-fans took this relaxing pastime to a new level–they hung a Jacuzzi off the Gueuroz Bridge in Switzerland with only cables and ropes. The entire process took 2,500 hours to plan and then six hours to assemble the jacuzzi that hung 500 feet from the ground and 120 feet from the bridge. The daredevils sipped champagne and ate cake whilst enjoying the views inside the jacuzzi. Source: Daily Mail
New Stonehedge App
A few years ago, the Blue Stonehedge was discovered a short distance away from the more world famous Stonehedge. The blue stones, imported from Wales, are believed to have been placed around 3000 BC in a similar circular shape as Stonehedge. Thanks to a smatphone app; however, archaeologist Henry Rothwell was able to notice that the shape formed an oval as opposed to a circle. Source: Gadling
World Record Undies Run
An undies run in the streets of Salt Lake City, Utah has set a world record, according to the Guinness World Records. According to officials, 2,270 people stripped to their undies sporting bras, panties, nightgowns, swimwear and colorful boxer shorts. The goal of the run was not to set a record, but rather, to protest the state’s conservative laws. Source: AOL
