Groupon recently offered a great deal on a walking tour dedicated to Jeffrey Dahmer, the serial killer responsible for murdering 17 boys and men. The 90-minute tour originally costs $30 a person, but the site offered two tickets for $25. Dahmer, who was arrested in 1991, was serving life sentence when a prison inmate beat him to death in 1994. The walking tour of the bars where Dahmer met his victims has created controversy since many of the victims families find the tour to be insensitive. However, London hosts many similar tours about their on famous serial killer, Jack the Ripper. Source: USA Today
Angkor Wat 2.0
A replica of the Angkor Wat temple will be coming soon to the state of Bihar in India. The project is speculated to take ten years to complete and cost 100 crores (25 million USD). The replica of the 12th century temple will be called Virat Angkor Wat Ram Mandir and will encompass 15 acres of land. Source: Hindustan Times
Mexico Retires Volkswagen Taxis
For years Mexico’s taxis were Volkswagen bugs, popularly known as “vochos.” The country has decided to retire all vochos due their contribution in polluting the air.
