A Touch of Madness

A Touch of Madness is located in the heart of Observatory, a relaxed neighborhood in Cape Town. The place makes delectable food that’s a little more palatable to a Western diet. Although the large menu includes gamey meats such springbok and kudu, you can also find dishes like chicken burgers and a selection of curries on the menu. An average priced meal would be around $11 US dollars.

Café Ganesh

Café Ganesh is a cozy place also located in Observatory. Café Ganesh is a great place to try anything from tasty ostrich-lamb burgers and appetizing springbok to fabulous falafel. The average priced meal is around $9 US dollars.

Marco’s African Place

If you want to try authentic African dishes you have to check out Marco’s African Place. Everything from lamb’s stomach lining to traditional African beer called Mqombot is served here. It can be a little more on the expensive side depending on what you order but it is definitely worth it if you want to try authentic dishes. Meals range from around $20 to $60 US dollars.
