Lights. Glitz. The Strip. Just a few of the things that Las Vegas is known for. If you find yourself in the city but with not much money on hand, never fear – there’s a number of activities to enjoy in Sin City.

Visit the Bellagio Conservatory and Dancing Fountains

Not to miss is the Conservatory, a floral extravaganza that features numerous flowers and plants. Depending on what season you visit, you’ll see a different floral design. Apart from the Conservatory, the front of the casino features a professional choreographed show of lights, music, and rushing water, a fascinating sight to see. Songs include crowd favorites from Michael Jackson and The Beatles, and you might even catch a wedding proposal or two. The fountains have a performance every half hour between before 7 p.m. and a show every 15 minutes after 7 p.m.

Live up the live show at Treasure Island

Even if you don’t have tickets for a musical act or a Cirque Du Soleil, you can still enjoy entertainment on The Strip. In particular, Treasure Island puts on an exciting show for friends and family to enjoy. In the past, the live show has featured pirates and sirens. The performance times vary by season.

Flock the shops for window shopping

To escape the heat in Las Vegas, make your way to the air-conditioned areas do to some window shopping. Some areas to pass by include The Shoppes at The Palazzo and The Forum Shop at the Caesars. You’ll get a look at high-end and low-end products in no time.

Pop by the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas

Las Vegas can allow you to get a view of the world. You can check out global sights, such as the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. It’ll give you a glimpse of what it looks like in France and make you want to see the real thing.

Check out the Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel

Reef, mermaids, fish, and just a few things that make the Aquarium a unique sight. There are also opportunities to see the fish get fed and mermaids perform underwater throughout the day. The Aquarium is open 24 hours for your enjoyment.

Participate in the CBS Television Research Center

A perfect stop for the television fan, the CBS Television Research Center allows viewers to give their perspectives on new programming. Besides television shows, people may also get to test out commercials, websites, and tech products. The Research Center is located at the MGM Grand Hotel.

Walk through the M&M World

The store has four floors of chocolate goodies. In the background, there’s lively music, bright colors, and M&M memorabilia. There’s also a gallery that showcases the progression of M&M characters and how they’ve changed throughout the years.

Watch the Volcano at Mirage Hotel

With the heat of Las Vegas, comes a fiery display at the Mirage. The volcano includes a lagoon, fire shooters, and waterfalls complete with smoke effects. The volcano plays every night from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Witness the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel

Pink birds, specifically flamingos, are the heart of this exhibit. The Wildlife Habitat allows you to mingle with exotic birds and colorful fish in a tropical wonderland of grasslands, streams, and brooks. You might even have a “Black Swan” moment and catch a black swan in the mix.

Experience sweets at Ethel M Chocolate Factory

Willy Wonka’s Candy Factory is the first thing that comes to mind when you talk about the Ethel M Chocolate Factory. There are bright lights, modern decoration, and a cool atmosphere. About 15 minutes away from the strip, visitors can even see how chocolates are made and try out the different samples.
